Safety and Quality Are Our Top Priorities

We’ve always prided ourselves on the quality of work we deliver, with safety being a given, but during these times it’s important to call-out that the welfare of our clients & staff always comes first.

Being a small team, we’ve been able to adapt quickly to the challenges COVID-19 has thrown our way and are uniquely positioned to work with clients on a 1-to-1 basis to meet needs as they arise.

Below are some answers to common questions you may have right now, but when in doubt, get in touch! We’re as available as always and will get back to you in a business day or less.

FAQ’s

Are you still doing estimates?

Yes! We’re usually able to collect all the information we need to provide you with an estimate over a 20-30 minute phone call. If there’s something you feel we need to see, we have capabilities to video call and can come on-site to better assess certain jobs, taking necessary social distancing precautions.

Do you offer contact-less estimates?

Yes! Simply visit our contact and estimates page and complete the form to start the estimate process. If necessary, we’ll setup time to video call or collect some photos of your project.

If an on-site visit is absolutely necessary, we’ll work through a plan to complete that independently with no face-to-face contact.

Are you taking on and completing new work?

Yes! Many small jobs can be completed with a one-man team through our Painter for a Day program practicing social distancing and an increased worksite hygiene protocol. Our team is equipped to handle many exterior jobs with an adapted plan to adhere to social distancing requirements.

For mid-and-large scale interior jobs, get in touch. We employ a hospital grade sanitizer that can used on work services and equipment. Additionally, we can accommodate working in unoccupied spaces by limiting the size of our team on-site.

As always, things are changing and certain cities and towns have different requirements for teams like ours, so when in doubt, contact us.

How are you handling on-site estimates?

We’re able to collect most of the information we need for estimates over the phone and via video call at this time. If your job requires an on-site estimate, we’ll arrange for a time and process to assess your project independently to avoid any unsafe personal contact.

Do I need to be home for your team to work?

Nope! We’ll work with you to be sure our team has the access they need to the worksite and will communicate a clear schedule as to who will be on-site and when, ensuring plenty of time to disinfect any areas occupied during the day.

What precautions are you taking?

Our team is regularly equipped with PPE to protect themselves when dealing with the many aerosolized paints and sprays we use on a daily basis. On top of this, we’ve purchased additional hospital grade disinfectant that can be applied using our equipment with easy modifications. We’re also limiting the size of our teams on site to no more than two workers who can maintain a safe distance throughout the day. Additionally, where possible, we’re working when spaces can be completely unoccupied, allowing our teams to work solo.

Do you need to come inside for exterior work?

No. To avoid our team members needing to come inside during any exterior work, we’ll be covering the cost of adding temporary worksite bathrooms, if necessary.

How easily can I just speak with someone?

Very easily. Our team is still as available as always, simply visit our contact page to schedule a dedicated time to speak, drop us an email at office@bigdogpainting.com or give us a call at 978-684-2306. If we aren’t available that day, we’ll get back to you in a business day or less.
