Meet The Staff

Graeme Clohosey, Owner/General Manager

Graeme, originally from Derry, NH started Big Dog Painting with a paint brush and a dream back in the summer of 2009! After graduating from the University of Massachusetts- Lowell in a down economy, Graeme decided to take matters into his own hands by starting his own painting company.

The journey from being a one-man band to having over 30 painters in the field has been arduous, but yet so rewarding! Graeme continues to guide the companies growth while never losing sight of the company core values. He is still very much involved in several aspects of the business, but is mostly responsible for business and staff development.

Graeme resides with his wife Meghan in Stoneham with their son’s Cody, Cooper and dog Biff. In his free time, he enjoys house projects and chasing his boys around the house!

Charlie Cooper, Production Manager

Charlie a native of Lexington joined Big Dog in 2019 and started his career here as a crew leader. No stranger to the painting industry, as Charlie comes from a long lineage of painting contractors and has been in the industry for the last 15 years.

Charlie had the opportunity to cut his teeth in the industry with a large local commercial company, servicing high-end office build-outs as well as local universities like Harvard, MIT, & BU. From there, Charlie got more involved in the residential painting side, where he was heavily involved in historic preservation & restoration carpentry.

Charlie resides in Billerica with his fiance, Clara, and dog Reggie who you'll often see in the office. If Charlie doesn't have a brush or saw in his hands, you can find him on the golf course or spending time with family.

Colby Kofoed, Estimator

Colby, a native of Lexington, joined Big Dog Painting in early 2022. He has been involved in the painting industry since high school starting as a laborer with College Pro Painting and eventually starting his own Home Services business.

Colby comes to Big Dog with several years of estimating/sales experience and is often who you'll meet when you have an onsite estimate/ appointment. He has stepped into his role as an estimator with us seamlessly and if time permits, never shies away from helping facilitate the overall growth of the company.

In his free time, Colby enjoys spending time with his wife Gina and dog Zuco who is also frequently in the office. A musician at heart, Colby also loves playing golf and watching the Celtics!

Debbie Misiano, Office Manager

Debbie a native of Revere joined the Big Dog Painting team in early 2022 and has quickly become the "glue" that holds the back end of the business together! She is involved in many aspects of the business but specifically focuses on all things related to customer service. Whether it be answering the phones, coordinating schedules, billing, or anything in between, Debbie is the one that will be there to get things done.

Prior to her time at Big Dog, she spent her career as an Executive Assistant to the CEO within the Finance Industry. Looking for a change of pace, she landed here at Big Dog and notes that the fast-paced environment and serving our customer base is what she enjoys best.

Outside of work, Debbie really enjoys traveling, watching live music, and spending time with friends & family.
